Over breakfast, lunch and dinner 18 Meals follows an eclectic group of characters as their stories unfold over the meals of a day. In the tradition of films such as Love Actually and Paris Je T'aime, various storylines intertwine, featuring several memorable characters. There's Sol who invites her old flame Edu to lunch while her husband and son are out.

There's Vladimir, an actor, who attempts to woo his co-star with elaborately prepared meals. And there's Victor who tries to hide the fact that Sergio is more than a roommate. And that's just for starters. Shot over nine days in the stunning Galician city of Santiago de Compostela, the film began as a series of improvisations. With the help of a top-grade ensemble cast and some snappy editing, the result is an appetizing spread audiences will love.
