Today We Fix the World
From the dream team of Ten Days Without Mum (SPA18) this heartwarming comedy directed by Ariel Winograd dives into what makes us a family.
45-year-old David “el Griego” Samarás (Leonardo Sbaraglia, Wild Tales, Pain and Glory), is the general producer of popular talk show, “Today We Fix the World”, where people settle relationship conflicts with their partners, friends, workmates, parents, and children.
He is single and his most enduring bond is with his 9-yearold son Benito (Benjamin Otero), the result of a brief fling. Everything is turned on its head when in the middle of an argument, Benito’s mother Silvina lets slip that David is not Benito’s father. Shortly after this bombshell, Silvina dies.
So, David decides to tell Benito the truth: he isn’t his father. Benito asks him to do one last thing for him, to help him find his real dad. The search will lead them to a dilemma far greater than the one they set out to deal with.
